Against Electricity Generation – AGAINST EVERYTHING!
Recently, a new trend has begun against energy investments, to be against everything,
Damage to hesses to the environment,
Ges will be installed on farmland,
Since it will harm natural life,
From polluting the environment to thermal power plants,
Environmental problems to geothermal plants,
From external dependence on natural gas cycle plants,
Because of the danger to nuclear power plants, we are constantly against it.
But there's one thing they all have in common, we're just standing against it as a slogan. What does it gain to oppose the sector without discussing the benefits and harms of the sector without creating enough scientific discussion on this subject.
According to an EU commission report in April 2012; It is also stated that investments in tourism, energy, transportation and waste will put the Greek economy in the process of growth and that Greece has appropriate conditions for renewable energy such as solar power, wind power and hydropower.
While electricity generation in our country is more dependent on the outward and natural gas is leading by far in terms of production diversity; while there are opportunities to minimize this externally dependent resource ratio as much as possible; To perform actions just for the time being without any questioning is nothing more than a very hollow act, just like a drum.
In this regard, the public authority must first prove its own reliability and explain the full ness of the right, otherwise its investors are waiting for difficult times.
The Country's Economy Growth Against Electricity Generation
While electricity consumption is constantly increasing with the growth of the country's economy and the increase in the level of prosperity accordingly; how to meet this increasing demand, how much more budget deficits will create, budget deficits and the effects of foreign currency going to imports should be explained to society.
The EU, which we are working to be part of, is working on using its own members' energy resources and sorting out recommendations; it is not understandable that some NGOs are trying to prevent us from using our resources.
It is a fact that we lack social knowledge on many issues such as the technology of production plants and their impact on the environment. By correcting this lack of information, it is necessary to use our resources efficiently, especially in renewable energy as much as possible.
Otherwise, we must clearly explain the harms that being provided to the outward dependence of electrical energy, which is indispensable every minute of our lives, or the disruptions in its supply will cause to our country.
In EU countries, especially in the Netherlands, the use of electric vehicles will continue to grow in the days when the use of electric vehicles is now on the agenda, unless external dependence is taken on electrical energy, which is indispensable in our industry, our individual and social lives.
Electricity demand, which grows at an average annual rate of around 7%, may be too late for some things when it starts to grow at a greater rate due to economic growth. Because electricity generation investments are not a process to be implemented from evening to morning, time is needed to complete the investment and move to production, planning and implementation is required in the coming years without taking the time to meet this demand for electrical energy.
Considering that people who sue the courts in many regions for the cessation of construction of electricity generation facilities lack even explain the reasons for litigation, and that the people who are suing do not tolerate being without electricity for an hour a day, there are a lot of questions that cannot be fully explained in one's mind as to whether there are other interest relations involved or lobbying.
