Will We Be Able to Use Our Solar Potential? If I can get to know myself, I'm 26 years old and an electrical engineer. He did academic research in the field of energy infrastructure planning during and after the study process at Columbia University in New York. After working in the energy field at tetra tech's New York office, one of the 10th lycienic firms in the United States; About 7 months ago, I decided to make a final decision on Turkey. Since then, it's been about the last six months; I will try to share with you the experience and problems I see about the potential for solar energy in our country.
Electrical energy is one of the most important requirements for windable and up-and-down. The need for renewable energy has started to be seriously noticed as our country, which has a dynamic and dynamic economy, is constantly throwing out the need for electrical energy.
Outward Dependence on Energy
Renewable energy production has been frozen into an independent struggle for a country that, like our country, imports about 60 percent of its electricity from oil and natural gas, which imports over 90 percent of it.
In this connection, Turkey has distanced itself from hydro and ruzgar energy since the early 2000s and has been focused on solar energy for the last few years.
Accordingly, many Turkish and foreign companies have started to work very well in Turkey to get electricity from the day. Therefore, the first question that comes to mind is: Will we be able to bring this potential to our country's economy as needed?
When looking at the provinces with high gunes potential in Turkey, konya, Antalya, Burdur came first; All the provinces on the south side of our country and the anatolian region of the south are again coming out with high solar radiation levels.
If we look at the impression we have had so far, it is very good to see that Konya has very serious potential. If the solar energy potential of Konya can be supported by the strengthening of existing lines and the development of new substations and transmission lines, Konya can be one of the ten solar energy centers in Europe with its large, rugged and economical lands, both sunbathing value and surahs.
Antalya, on the other hand, is seen even better than Konya, while the increase in temperature in the summer months is a factor that improves panel efficiencies.
Nevertheless, in Antalya, where the high level of transportation and especially the air conditioning levels of hotels that are too high in the summer months have reached very serious levels, the increase in the number of tukets caused by the sun can still be met with electricity from the sun.
Burdur, Isparta and its environment, while having a good degree of gunes potential; The fact that the abundance is overly dyed is a factor that increases the loss of the golge and the construction costs.
The efforts we have done with the golge analyzers that we have brought in from the United States show that golge analysis must be done carefully in this field selection.
In order for our country to make good use of this potential, there are many services to the ministry of energy, epdk, energy professors and citizens.
Will We Be Able to Use Our Solar Potential? Ineration in Renewable Energy
First Step in Renewable Energy…
In the first place, the most accurate map of the potential of the day in our country; it should be calculated by using the result of the pyranometers that the state and the special sector will establish and it should be completed constantly. The current satellites are not very reliable because of their satellite sensitivity.
In addition, the transmission lines revision program should be installed for solar energy and line revisions and new line works should be started where the potential is high in this connection.
As a result, it would be useful for epdk to accept license applications at least every year by increasing their capacity by reducing the application review processes. It should also be noted that; solar power plants can be built in a short period of time, and more can be installed in the same capacity much less than any other type of power plant.
Therefore, it is obvious that solar energy will be very effective if supported in reducing the current deficit of our country due to energy in the first place. It is certain that the law, which allows the production of its own energy up to 500 KW installed a while ago, and independent energy production facilities called off-grid, which will be established by the private sector and the state, will also benefit our country in reducing our current deficit.
